It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Howell in Grant, Nebraska, who passed away on December 27, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Manfrid Martinson (Sandy) and Alene Martinson (Johnson); her siblings, Phyllis Fauth (Ed) and Claude L Martinson; and her brother-in-law Kevin Turner.
She is survived by: her husband Warren Smith; her children, Everette Smith (Angie) of Lincoln and Shelia Ackerman (Bruce) of McCook, Nebraska.; her grandchildren, Kevin, Josh Smith, Malachi Smith, Mercedees Dermer (Evan), Patrick Busto and Matthew Busto (Harlea); her sister Lynda Turner (Ramon Burillo); her sister-in-law Ruth Martinson; and her nephews, DJ and Avery Turner.
Memorials can be given to Garden Valley Church or the Emmaus House in care of Garnand Funeral Home of Garden City.
