We bid farewell to Rose Barry of Grant, Nebraska, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 8, 2024 at the age of 92. Rose touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Christian "Chris" Gengenbach Jr. and Anna Schurr; her husband Jack Barry; and her siblings, Harold Gengenbach, Lillian Logsdon, Arlene Kurkowski, Dorothy Keuten, George Gengenbach, Daniel Gengenbach and Eleanor Russell.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Barry (Tim Smith) of Danbury, Patty Jones (Mark) of Lincoln, Mike Barry (Jeannette) of Wayne, Linda Kirkpatrick (Brian) of Plainfield and Lana Knupp (Jeff) of Woodbury, Minnesota. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; a sister.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Hastings Memorial Library in Grant or the Zion Lutheran Church in memory of Rose.
