With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Norma Mayer of Grant, Nebraska, born in Shelby, Nebraska, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Shunk and Miriam Shunk (Kruse); her husband Royston Mayer of Grant; and her friend Vince Lee. She is survived by: her children, Mikel Mayer (Donna) of Grant and Monica Poppe (Kevin) of Grant; her grandchildren, Molly Mayer, Drew Mayer (Caitlin), Brad Mayer (Shelby), Lauren Klima (Jeremy) and Adrianne Poppe; her great grandchildren, Paisley, Callum, Brynn, Wells Mayer, Elle and Isla Klima; and her siblings, Tom Shunk (Julee) and Gaylene Thelen. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, and cherished friends.

A memorial has been established in Norma's memory for later designation.
