She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Knoles and Inez Knoles (Martin); her husband Robert William Kennicutt; her daughter Arlene Steffen; and her siblings, Mildred Leonard, Ann Benben, Lola Fear and Clarence Knoles.
She is survived by: her sons, Ron Kennicutt (Jolene) of Paxton and Melvin Kennicutt (Paula) of Arapahoe; her son-in-law Ed Steffen of Crofton; and her siblings, Nyle Knoles of Wellfleet and Lyla Hahn of Elsie. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; twenty-nine great-grandchildren and their spouses; three great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
A memorial has been established in Lula's memory for later designation.
