He is survived by: his children, Marlin Schmidt (Bonnie) of Grant, David Schmidt (Twila) of Ronan, MT and Jerry Schmidt (Minnie) of Madrid; his stepchildren, Yolanda Friesen of Madrid, Sherry Mastre (Denton) of Grant, Barbara Becker (Keith) of Leesburg, OH, Danny Goertzen (Barb) of Madrid and Wendel Goertzen (Krista) of Madrid; and his sisters, JoAnn Schmidt of Montezuma, KS and Phyllis Bissell of Woodburn, OR. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 24 step-grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 44 step-great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established in Clinton's memory for later designation.
