With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ashley Pankonin of Grant, Nebraska, born in Ogallala, Nebraska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 1, 2024 at the age of 44. She is survived by: her father Chris Leach of Ogallala; her siblings, Mandi Pankonin and Zachary Pankonin; her nephew Naz Pankonin; her great-nieces, Kyah and Daudi; her great-nephew DhaKari of North Platte; and her aunts and uncles, Gilbert Pankonin of Temecula, Alvin Pankonin (Lucretia Johnson) of Madrid, Russell Pankonin (Lori) of Imperial, Kathryn Fattig of Grant, Judy Dickinson (Gene) of Sidney, Todd Schulz (Courtney) of Ogallala and Joyce Schulz of Brule. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
A memorial has been established in Ashley's memory for later designation.
