He was predeceased by: his parents, John Ring and Ruth Ring; his siblings, Bonnie Enke and Dick Ring; and his father-in-law Russ Evenson.
He is survived by: his wife Barb; his children, Megan Frickel (Mark), Maren Lakers (Nate) and John Ring (Ashley); his grandchildren, Caroline Frickel, Cameron Ring, Margo Lakers, Bridger Frickel, Drew Lakers and Noah Ring; and his sisters, Roxanne Olson and Rita Harty.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Peace Lutheran Church (1710 North Rd, Grand Island, NE 68803). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
