Wanda Aldrich Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wanda Aldrich of Grand Island, Nebraska, who passed away on November 26, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert J. Hastings and Irene M. Hastings (Derra); her husband Richard Aldrich of Wallace; her brother Wayne Hastings; her granddaughters, Kandice and Kayla; and her siblings-in-law, Rosalie Hastings, Joyce Hastings, Karen Zigler, Dale Van Boening, Lloyd Zigler and Roger Aldrich.
She is survived by: her daughters, Diane Priest (Marc) of Hays, Kansas, Brenda Branstiter (Tim) of Arcadia, FL, Donna Ehrlich (Jeff) of Zephyrhills, FL and Doris Chevalier (Tim) of Aurora, Nebraska; her stepchildren, Randy Aldrich (Deb) of Holdrege, Kate Aldrich (Tim Shaffer) of Las Vegas, Robert Aldrich of Denver and Ann Aldrich (Mansour Parsaye) of Colorado Springs, Colorado; her siblings, Dolores Van Boening of Wallace, Nebraska and Gary Hastings of Scottsbluff, Nebraska; and her sister-in-law Janice. She is also survived by 38 grandchildren and 44 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Nelson-Bauer Funeral Home (401 Burlington St, Holdrege, NE 68949). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 at 10:30 AM at the All Saints Catholic Church (1206 Logan St, Holdrege, NE 68949).
A memorial has been established in Wanda's honor and kindly suggested to the All Saints Catholic Church or MOSAIC.
