The memory of Tom D. Carlson of Grand Island, Nebraska, who passed away on February 18, 2025 at the age of 82, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. Though Tom may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Tom touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Carlson and Evlyn Carlson (Rogge); and his sister Sonya (Max). He is survived by: his wife Barbara Armstrong; his sons, Joel Carlson (Deanna) and Jeremy Carlson (Kelly); his granddaughter Ashley Carlson; and his brother Billy Carlson (Keta).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the All Faiths Funeral Home (2929 S Locust St, Grand Island, NE 68801). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Trinity United Methodist Church (511 N Elm St, Grand Island, NE 68801-4599).
Memorials are suggested to either Trinity United Methodist Church or the American Heart Institute.
