He was predeceased by: his parents, Bob Kruger and JoAnne Campbell (Angus); and his sister Letha Brooks. He is survived by: his wife Ronda (Ernst); his sons, Heath (Sydney) of Omaha, Cole of Kilgore, TX and Tad (Brooke) of Ord; his grandchildren, Nash, Willa and Josie Kruger of Omaha; and his siblings, Alan (Carol) of Hastings and Crystal Gangwish of Shelton.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family who will forward to the Shelton Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department.
