We are sad to announce that on September 23, 2024, at the age of 70, Thomas J Goering of Grand Island, Nebraska, born in Cedar Rapids, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, LaVern Goering and Theresa Goering (Homan); his daughter Christi Ann Goering; and his siblings-in-law, Jerry McPhillips, Bob Kutilek, Ray Rutten and JoAnn Kratzer (David Kratzer).

He is survived by: his wife Jane Gartner of Grand Island; his daughter Dr. Emily O'Rourke (Jimmy); his grandsons, Logan and Jackson of Chesapeake, VA; his son Adam Goering (Kelli); his grandchildren, Ty, Teddy, Bella and Josie of Playa de; his son John Kratzer (Sol); his grandsons, Nolan and Josh of Duvall, WA; and his siblings, Marlene McPhillips of Elkhorn, Sister Jean Ann Goering of Great Bend, KS, Catherine Kutilek of Grand Island, Barbara of Omaha, Fred Goering (Joan) of Grand Island and Jim Goering (Janet) of Geneva, NE. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
