He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas "Elwood" Blanchard and Rose Blanchard (Donscheski); and his sisters, Peggy Hughes, Velma Crist, Ellen Zabloudil and Daphne.
He is survived by: his wife Eileen Blanchard; his daughters, Cheryl Massman (Scott) of Scotia and Teresa Faltys (Ben) of Raymond; his grandchildren, Ryan Massman (Kylie), Riley Massman, Ethan, Trenton Blanchard, Beckett and Caden Faltys; and his great grandchild Crosby Massman. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorials are suggested to the family to be designated to Trinity Lutheran Church.
