With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sandra Kay Benson of Grand Island, Nebraska, who passed away on June 26, 2024 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Gerrard and Margaret Gerrard (Specht); her husband Dennis Benson; her daughter Gina Cortez; her sisters-in-law, Lela Benson and Marilyn Muzil; and her nephews, Bobby and Mitchel Munoz.
She is survived by: her son Timothy Benson (Leanna); her granddaughter Tori Hernandez (Oscar); her sisters, Darla Munoz (Robert) and Sharon Polanco (Eddie) of North Platte, NE; and her siblings-in-law, Glenda Rodabaugh (Bruce) of Marquette, NE, Gary Benson of Milford, NE and Roger Benson of Grand Island, NE.. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested to the family to be designated at a later date.
