With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rodney L. Carlson of Grand Island, Nebraska, born in Oakland, Nebraska, who passed away on February 6, 2024 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Carlson and Lillian Carlson (Bossow); his wife Donna Meints; and his brothers, Raymond and Robert.
He is survived by: his children, Scott Carlson (Krissy Mankle) of Grand Island, Angie Peters (Eric) of Omaha and Beth Francis (Tim) of Omaha; his grandchildren, Ryan (Kaitlyn), Austin, Kaitlyn, Joelle, Calista, Brynn, Drew, Kellan, Trista and Traven; his great grandchildren, Malachi and Levi; his siblings, Randy Carlson and Phyllis Andreasen (Stan); his sisters-in-law, Sue Carlson and Mary Grewe; and his mother-in-law Charlotte Meints. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
