We are sad to announce that on April 1, 2025, at the age of 81, Rita Joyce Kelly of Grand Island, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Powell and Christina Powell (O'Neill); her son Steve Kelly; her siblings, Daniel Powell and Veronica Miller; and her sisters-in-law, Cathy Powell and Brigitte Kelly.

She is survived by: her husband Ed Kelly; her children, Ed Kelly, Wally Kelly Sr. and Kim Downs; her siblings, Bryan Powell (Susie), Frank Powell (Lee Ann), Mary Encinger (Chuck), Bernard Powell and Barbie Allen (Allan); her aunt Anne Mart of Hutchinson Kansas; and her siblings-in-law, Ron Miller, LeeAnn Powell, Pat Kelly of Florida and Kathy Jorgensen (Jim). She is also survived by several grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and many cousins.
