He was predeceased by: his parents, Francisco Vargas and Emma Landaverde; and his brothers, Anibal Landaverde and Orlando Landaverde. He is survived by: his wife Rosa; his sons, Marvin Landaverde (Heather Piontkowski) of Grand Island, Christian Landaverde of Grand Island and Brian Landaverde of Grand Island; his grandchildren, Andelina and Gabriel; and his brother Carlos Landaverde (Zoila) of Las Vegas.
