It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lisa Marie Wooten of Grand Island, Nebraska, born in La Mesa, California, who passed away on February 15, 2024, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Eugene Thomas Sr.; her aunt Linda Coiner of Moundridge, KS; and her brother-in-law Gary Ummel. She is survived by: her husband Ray; her daughter Chelsea Wood (Ron) of Grand Island; her granddaughter Scarlett; her mother Sue Maxwell (David) of Buhler, KS; her siblings, Tom Terronez (Kelly) of Newton, KS, Devin Maxwell (Megan) of Hutchinson, KS, Nickolas Maxwell of Hutchinson, KS and Erlinda Larsen (Rusty) of Broken Bow; and her in-laws, Estel Ummel of Grand Island, Jim Ummel (Janet) of Grand Island, Tom Ummel of Grand Island and Albert "Junior" Ummel (Elaine) of Grand Island. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other extended relatives and friends.
After graduating, Lisa moved to Santa Ana, CA to be near family and worked for the MS Foundation, Multiple Sclerosis.
