We are sad to announce that on January 24, 2024, at the age of 87, Laurence E. Evans of Grand Island, Nebraska, born in Hartington, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Clair A. Evans and Margharite V. Evans (Leschinsky); his wife Mary; his son Patrick; his daughter-in-law Darla Evans; and his grandson Tyler.

He is survived by: his children, Chris (Becky Evans), Scott (Robyn Evans), Steven (Brenda Evans) and Mary Beth; his son-in-law Ignacio Gonzalez of Yakima, WA; and his close friend Alice Johnson. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren.
