He was predeceased by: his parents, Della Mae Peterson (Pirnie) and Andrew Willard Peterson; his wife Cleo June Peterson (Anderson); his son Andrew Wesley Peterson; and his grandchildren, Rachel Peterson, Phillip Peterson and Tori Ann Burge.
He is survived by: his children, Randy Peterson (Laurie) and Susan Burge (Brian) of Lakeland, FL; his daughter-in-law Audrey Peterson of Hastings, NE; his grandchildren, Tyler Peterson (Breanna), Brice Peterson, Jenifer Hoagland (Travis), Dylan Peterson, Cody DeFeo, Lindsey Englund (Jonathan), Ethan Peterson (Victoria), Rebecca Peterson and Stephanie Stewart (David); his siblings, Robert Peterson of Lincoln, NE, Ron Peterson (Cristy) of Spokane, WA, Marvin Peterson (Kay) of Eureka Springs, AR and Judy Conder of Olathe, CO; and his siblings-in-law, Mary Stefka of Comstock, NE, Betty Thompson, Roseanne Anderson and Theo Anderson. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Peace Lutheran Church North Road (1710 North Rd, Grand Island, NE 68803). A memorial service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Peace Lutheran Church (1710 North Rd, Grand Island, NE 68803).
