With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jolene R. Melchert-Stalker of Grand Island, Nebraska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 23, 2024 at the age of 70. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Melchert and Nila Melchert (Kelley); and her husband Dick. She is survived by: her sons, Kelly (Brandi) of Colorado and Kris (Adrian) of Colorado; her brothers, Jim (Jan) of St George and John (Galen) of Calais, Maine; and her grandchildren, Kennedy, Kyah, Tanner and Riley (John Hoffman).
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Resurrection Catholic Church Senior Center.
