It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Lee Benker of Grand Island, Nebraska, born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, who passed away on March 2, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Benker and LaVonne Benker (Wilson); his brother Greg; his daughter Jill Marie Benker; his nephew Jeff Buhr; and his mother-in-law Clara Krzycki.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanne Krzycki; his daughters, Jennifer Arthur (Jim) of Lincoln and Jodi Clay (Justin) of Lincoln; his grandchildren, Jayden, Jeremy and Jillian; and his sister Janice Buhr (Ray) of Omaha.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Shriners Hospitals for Children or the American Heart Association of Nebraska.
