He is survived by: his wife Betty Sedlacek of Grand Island; his son Matt Smith of Grand Island; his grandson Dominic Smith of Grand Island; his sister Diane England; and his nieces, Shauna Tordrup (Shawn) and Stacy Haman (Tyler).
