He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Kosmicki and Cashmiere Kosmicki; his son Edward Kosmicki; and his siblings, Zigmond Kosmicki, Michael Kosmicki, Anthony Kosmicki and Blanche Galusha.
He is survived by: his wife Norma Jean Wyland of Grand Island; his children, Caroline Wankmuller (Robert) of Yuba, CA, Frank Kosmicki (Rhonda) of Carbondale, IL and Marvin Kosmicki of Grand Island, NE; and his siblings, Don Kosmicki of Overland, Raymond M. Kosmicki of Grand Island, NE, David Kosmicki of Greeley, CO, Alice Dirks of Greeley, CO and Bernice Smith of Grand Island, NE. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great children.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Curran Funeral Chapel (3005 S Locust St, Grand Island, NE 68801). A vigil service was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Mary's Cathedral (205 S Cedar St, Grand Island, NE 68801).
Memorials are suggested to St. Mary's Cathedral.
