Jeffery D. Hruby Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jeffery D. Hruby of Grand Island, Nebraska, born in Loup City, Nebraska, who passed away on July 5, 2024, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Hruby and Alice Hruby (Woody); his former wife Maxine Hruby; and his stepchildren, Brandon Drahota and Kristen Gydesen.

He is survived by: his stepchildren, Amy Zuck (Mark), Jamie Ottmann (Trevor) and Lynsey McElroy (Jay); his wife Vicky Hruby; and his siblings, Dianne Hunkins (Lyle), Bob Hruby (Laura Hayes) and Julie Dorsey (Steve) of Hruby's Market. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; his two aunts; his mother and father-in-law; and many extended family members and loving friends.

Memorials are suggested to the family to be designated at a later date.
