With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jean M Pemberton (Grand Island, Nebraska), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 22, 2025 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Willard Goldenstein and Jean Goldenstein (Hiatt); her sister Vicki Sweet; and her nephew Joshua Weekley. She is survived by: her husband Gary Pemberton; her children, Brian Hopkins of Grand Island, Jamie Hopkins of Grand Island, Joe Lavene (Tiffany) of Central City, Amy McKimmey (Chris) of Colorado and Jake Pemberton (Tawny) of Grand Island; her grandchildren, Bailee, Layla, Riley, Norah, Kaden, Madge, Bentley, Aubrey and Titus; her great grandchild Kash; her siblings, Will Davis (Ginny) of Oklahoma, Tony Elsbury of England, Pam Moore (Jim) of South Carolina, Kelly Thomas (Mike) of Grand Island and DeeAnn Weekley (Daryl) of Grand Island; and her sister-in-law Lori Kent (Rick) of Grand Island. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the All Faiths Funeral Home (2929 S Locust St, Grand Island, NE 68801).
Memorials are suggested to the family for future designation.
