She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Joseph and Irene Ann Kobza (Mazanec); her spouse Carroll Schrier (Joe); her siblings, Ben, Frank (Lonnie), Joe (Donna) and Betty; her grandson Joseph Viereck; and her great grandchild Jaxson Viereck.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Steinbrink (Steve) of Omaha, NE, Jerry Schrier (Suzanne) of Sioux Falls, SD, John Schrier (Lori) of Grand Island, NE and Laurie Shultz (John) of Doniphan, NE; her grandchildren, Randy Witt (Melissa), Mitch Schrier (Sarah), Nick Steinbrink (Amanda), Stephen Viereck (Karin), Kalvin Lonowski (Cassie), Tony Lonowski, Madeline Goh (Ryan), Abby Henry (Jack), Kimberley Palmer (Chad), Julia Smulkowski (Jake), Kathleen Viereck and CJ Avande; and her sisters, Connie Zidko (Frank) of Spencer, NE and Marcye Blatney of Todd, NC. She is also survived by 29 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Resurrection Catholic Church (4110 Cannon Rd, Grand Island, NE 68803). A vigil service was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 at the Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery (3826 W Stolley Park Rd, Grand Island, NE 68803).
