It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Ann Smith of Grand Island, Nebraska, who passed away on April 15, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alex Marcovich and Gladys Marcovich (Katzenberger); her spouse Gene R. Smith; her brother Alex Marcovich; and her daughter-in-law Linda Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Gene Smith of Grand Island and Deb DeBoer (Ted) of Doniphan; her grandchildren, Tori, Morgan (Randy), Madison and Hunter; her siblings, Jim Marcovich (Ramona), Mary Smith (Mike) and Nancy Suthers (Michael); her sister-in-law Jane Marcovich; and her nieces and nephews, Raini Mehring (John) and Mike Augustine.
Memorials are suggested to the family for future designation.
