He is survived by: his wife Ruth Schweitzer; his children, Patrick Buettner (Anne) of Grand Island, Thomas Buettner (Dianna) of Fox River, IL, Marcus Buettner (Colleen) of Dannebrog, Sara Hornecker (Roger) of Andover, KS, Michael Buettner (Eden) of Phoenix, AZ and Teresa Sinner (Jerry) of Grand Island; his son-in-law Shane Larson of Janesville, WI; and his sister Mary Ann Fortier of California. He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
