She was predeceased by: her parents, Gustav Schade and Edith Schade; her husband Jerome Niedfelt of Grand Island; and her siblings, Roy Schade, Roland Schade, Clara Balestri, Arvie Schade and Ardene "Deno" Schade.
She is survived by: her children, Barry, JoLynn Niedfelt of Grand Island, John, Jackie Niedfelt of Cheyenne, Wyoming, Carol Rhiley and Christie DePoorter of Cheyenne, Wyoming; and her nieces and nephews, Doreen Lee, Michael Balestri, Roger Schade and Kelly Schade. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested to Heartland Lutheran High School.
