With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Donna Jean Ehresman of Grand Island, Nebraska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 24, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester F. Will and Lillian Will (McPheron); her husband Dwayne Ehresman of Grand Island; and her siblings, Marion Will of Beatrice, Nebraska, Darlene Purdom (Harold) of Torrance, Thelma Pendleton (Joe) of Boosier City, Kathy Carpenter (Ivel) of Beatrice and Marilyn Workman (Jim) of Beatrice, Nebraska..
She is survived by: her children, Dr. Scott Ehresman (Melanie) of Holdrege, Nebraska and Dr. Christine Keim (James) of Lincoln, Nebraska; her grandchildren, Lindsay Ickes (Adam), Sara Hohensee (Chance), Jeff Ehresman (Lexie), Mason Keim and Ava Keim; and her great grandchildren, Nevyn, Rahlie, Vivian, Maelyn Ickes, Harlow, Hayes, Maddyn, Baylor Hohensee, Brody, Arabella and Adeline Ehresman.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Apfel Funeral Home (1123 W 2nd St, Grand Island, NE 68801). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Christian Church (2400 W 14th St, Grand Island, NE 68803).
Memorials are suggested to the Scholarship Memorial Fund at the First Christian Church.
