It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dale R. Hoffman of Grand Island, Nebraska, born in Mooreton, North Dakota, who passed away on January 24, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Hoffman and Lillian Hoffman (Raftebold); and his brothers-in-law, Erhardt Rosen, Arden Anderson and George Blanchett.
He is survived by: his wife Betsy Ball (Niehaus); his children, Scott Hoffman (Shani) of Minden, Jeff Hoffman (Cherise) of Clarksville, Georgia, Deborah Hoffman of Kearney, Shelley Wheeler (Tom Rowe) of Doniphan, Deedee Antle (Pat Schaben) of Phillips and Tami Hedges (Mark) of Caney, KS; and his siblings, Jeanne Hennen (Don) of Verges, MN, Janet Rosen of Perham, MN, Marilyn Anderson of Wahpeton, ND, Linda Blanchett of Kearney, NE and Louis Hoffman of Wahpeton, ND. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
