We are sad to announce that on January 5, 2024, at the age of 78, Chester A. Rockford of Grand Island, Nebraska, born in Oneill, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Rockford and Leona Rockford (Gilman); and his siblings, William, Dale, Alfred, Warren, Merwin, Robert, Benny, Elsie, Marge and Susie.
He is survived by: his wife Alvina Keithley; his sons, Dewayne Rockford (Teresa Ward), Dustin Rockford (Karli) and Devin Rockford (Kendra); his foster sons, Gary Layman and Billy Layman; his grandchildren, Katie, Dylan, Eloise, Kianna, Kayla and Tyler; his great grandchildren, Kai, Brecklen and Jaden; his brother James Rockford; his sister-in-law Mary Dobrolovny; and his nephew Dick Walton (Cindy Janssen).
Memorials are suggested to the family for later designation.
