He was predeceased by: his former wife Rosalea Whitcher; his son Scott Whitcher; and also Craig Bykerk. He is survived by: his wife Jean Whitcher; his daughter Sheryl McGreanor (Don); his grandsons, Thomas Carr (Michelle), Timothy Carr and Tony Carr (Samantha); his great grandchild Lochlan; and his daughters, Teri Bykerk, Karen Behnk, Michelle Matthews (Michael), Diane Frauen (Eric) and Connie Lybarger (Martin).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the All Faiths Funeral Home (2929 S Locust St, Grand Island, NE 68801). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. Leo's Catholic Community Church (2410 S Blaine St, Grand Island, NE 68801). A burial will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Maple Grove Cemetery (1000 N Hillside St, Wichita, KS 67214).
