Carl William Wolfe Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carl William Wolfe (Grand Island, Nebraska), born in Erie, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 9, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Wolfe and Mildred Wolfe (West); his sister Mary Alice Browning; and his wife Estella M. Geis-Wolfe. He is survived by: his former wife Nancy V. Wolfe (Eismann); his grandchildren, Nolan, Clara, Ian, Elliana and Greyson; his brother-in-law Edwin R. Browning; his nieces, Terri Brigham (Earl) and Jan Carlsen; his nephew Steve Browning; and his close friend Rae Ellen Syverson.

Memorials, in lieu of flowers, may be made on his behalf to Rowe Sanctuary, or the Wildlife Society.
