He is survived by: his wife Shawna Hemmer (Vollmer) of Grand Island; his children, Tammy Heusinkvelt (Jim Pursell) of Ayr, Tod Heusinkvelt (Debbie) of Dannebrog, Troy Heusinkvelt (Lisa) of Iowa and Travis Heusinkvelt (Trina Holden) of Lincoln; his stepchildren, Kelly Goertzen of Overland Park, KS and Shane Hemmer of Kearney; his siblings, Oren Lee Heusinkvelt (Genevieve) of Cortland, Fern Sullivan (Tom) of Cortland and May Stevens (Greg) of Lincoln; his grandchildren, Kyndsay Herrick (Devin), Kassie Faimon (Kelly), Reagan Rust, Brady Heusinkvelt (Kenzie), Madison Heusinkvelt (Dan Leonard), Alexis Mendyk (Andrew), Jordan Heusinkvelt (Sara), Alery Heusinkvelt, Shelby Heusinkvelt and Willow Heusinkvelt; his great grandchildren, Owen, Hazlee, Maxtyn, Abram, Liam, Winsom, McKoy, Blake, Brooke, Brandi, Niki, Eastyn, Ashton, Brecken, Ember, Carson and Sophia; and his stepgrandchildren, Braeden Glause of Overland Park, KS, Matthew Goertzen of Overland Park, KS, Cora Hemmer of Long Pine and Tristen Hemmer.
