He was predeceased by: his parents, George Sass and Caroline Sass (Dibbern); his siblings, Phyllis Hooper, Bonnie Hanssen and Wayne Sass; and his son-in-law Brett Campbell.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy; his daughters, Tami Campbell and Angie Smith; his grandchildren, Megan Punt (Cassidy), Kaitlin Brazil (Matt), Morgan Tempelmeyer (Ian) and Logan Smith; his great grandchildren, Cooper Iske and Grayson Brazil; and his brother Virgil Sass (Lynn).
A celebration of life was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the All Faiths Funeral Home (2929 S Locust St, Grand Island, NE 68801).
Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church or Heartland Lutheran High School.
