With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara J. Benson of Grand Island, Nebraska, born in Kearney, Nebraska, who passed away on February 15, 2024 at the age of 60. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Stauffer and Rose Stauffer (Clouse); and her great-niece Evelyn Langer. She is survived by: her sons, Tyson Benson (Melissa) of Doniphan, NE and AJ Benson of Kearney; her granddaughters, Rosalie, Charlotte and Elena Benson; her siblings, Vickie Stauffer, Kathy Petersen, Bill Stauffer, Rita Stauffer and Mark Stauffer; and her close friend Matt Benson. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Memorials are suggested to Kearney Area Animal Shelter or to Tiffany Square in Grand Island.
