With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Sitorius (Gothenburg, Nebraska), born in Cozad, Nebraska, who passed away on May 30, 2020 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Bunkum Bartlett and Dora Bartlett; her husband Virgil W. Sitorius; and her siblings, Roy, Guy, Ward Bartlett, Bernice Moore and Lela Davis.

She is survived by: her children, Jolyne, Doug Sitorius (Connie) of Gothenburg, Kay Hinze (Grant) of Holdrege and Jo Johnson of Gothenburg; her grandchildren, Jeremy Sitorius (Tricia) of Gothenburg, Jennifer Campa (David), Jaime Burkink (Joe) of Gothenburg, Megan Hinze of Ft. Worth, TX, Janelle Leuschen (James), D. C. of Washington, Creighton Hinze (Cassidy) of Holdrege, Kimberly Pinkerton (Adam) of Eustis and Doran Johnson (Molly) of Lincoln, NE; her great grandchildren, Nataleagh, Liliana Sitorius, Kenidi, Colton Campa, Addison, Alexis Burkink, Lueschen, Craysten, Caprice and Creeley Jo Hinze; her sister-in-law Lavonne Anderson of Omaha; and her daughter-in-law Jeanne Sitorius of California. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
