He was predeceased by: his parents, John A Loostrom and Beulah Loostrom (Bedell); and his grandchildren, Lane and Bobbi Jo Loostrom. He is survived by: his wife Shawn McWha; his son John (Melodie) of Maxwell; his grandchildren, Trever Muellenberg of Gothenburg and Katie Loostrom; and his siblings, David Loostrom (Linda) of Gothenburg and Peggy Pape (Johnny) of Omaha. He is also survived by many cousins, nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Blasé Strauser Funeral Home (620 10th St, Gothenburg, NE 69138).
