She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Ward (Jack) and Etta Ward; her brothers, Ronald, Robert and Dwayne Ward; her son Monte Miller; her son-in-law Jackie McClain; and her granddaughter Andrea McClain.
She is survived by: her husband Irvin Dale Miller; her siblings, Donna Sever (Daryl), Carol Cheetsos (Dave) and Wesley Ward; her children, Regina Walter (John Wallace), Rhonda Gaudet (Brian), Misty Rios (Ron), Teresa Miller (Art), Eric Walter (Sheryl), Reece Miller (Rose), Dorrie Mathias (Michael) and Dirk Miller (Christine); and also Christine Ward. She is also survived by twenty-three grandchildren, twenty-seven great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Blase-Strauser Memorial Chapel, 62010th St, Gothenburg (620 10th St, Gothenburg, NE 69138). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church (1401 Lake Ave, Gothenburg, NE 69138). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Fort McPherson National Cemetery (12004 South Spur 56a, Maxwell, NE 69151).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Meals On Wheels/Gothenburg Senior Center or Wreaths across America/Fort McPherson.
