It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathryn Purintun (Gothenburg, Nebraska), born in Wilsonville, Nebraska, who passed away on October 9, 2018, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Jones and Edith Jones; her husband Charles "Cork" Purintun; her son Daniel Purintun; her sisters, Phylis Stephenson (Horace), Winafred Hahn (Bud), Marge Lamb and Jimmalee McConnel (Bob); her siblings-in-law, Vernon "Pat" Purintun (Marge), Floyd "Mike" Purintun (Loraine), Bob Adams, LeLa Ann "Dot" Huff (Phil) and Eileen Jones (Tom); and her sister Shirley Beyl (Max).
She is survived by: her children, Kathleen Vogt (Keith) of Gothenburg, NE and James Purintun of Gothenburg, NE; her sister-in-law Catherine Adams of Lexington, NE; her sister Sharon Cooney (Tom); her grandchildren, Kanda Kleinknecht (Clayton), Kody Vogt, Karmen Meyers (Josh), Erika Dailey (Adam) and Jessica Purintun; and her great grandchildren, Kyle Kleinknecht, Karleigh Kleinknecht, Kaitlyn Kleinknecht, Kalib Jones, Kehl Jones and Emma Meyers.
