With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Karen Lynn Olmsted of Gothenburg, Nebraska, born in Wauneta, Nebraska, who passed away on April 19, 2022 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Moon and Lucinda Moon; her husband John Olmsted; her daughter Racheal Olmsted; and her brother Harold Moon.
She is survived by: her daughters, Michelle Chew of Gothenburg, NE and Rebecca Olmsted of Lincoln; her grandchildren, Amelia Raine Chew Barber of Johnstown, CO and John Edward Indpendence Chew of Estes Park, CO; her sister Ardith Stute; and her siblings-in-law, Gene Olmsted and Delpha Olmsted. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
