He was predeceased by: his parents, Phillip Johnson and Elnora Johnson; his wife Carole M. Johnson; his son Brock Shane Johnson; his siblings, Clarence Johnson, Ray Johnson and Dorothy Janus; his parents-in-law, Ike Adams and Lola Adams; and his siblings-in-law, Ruth Johnson, Beverly Johnson and Butch Janus.
He is survived by: his daughter Roxanne Ritz (Luke) of Gothenburg, NE; his daughter-in-law Tami Johnson; his grandchildren, Tanner Schwanz (Mandy), Kyle Johnson, Tyson Schwanz, Skyler Schwanz, Siera Reimnitz (Trevor) and Abby Johnson; and his siblings-in-law, Lorretta Barrett (Bruce) and Neil Adams (Lori). He is also survived by many extended family and friends.
Memorials may be given to the Gothenburg Honor Guard.
