It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fay June Schmeeckle of Gothenburg, Nebraska, who passed away on February 23, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray E Ostendorf and Dorothy A. Spencer Ostendorf (Schmeeckle Land Leveling); her husband Carl Schmeeckle; her brothers, Ray Junior Ostendorf and Henry Roger Ostendorf; her sister-in-law Margaret Ostendorf; and her half-sisters, Faith Henslee and Vera Starks.
She is survived by: her daughter Monica Miers (Jeff); her grandchildren, Bridger Miers and Grayson Miers of Kylie Mass; and her stepchildren, Cindy Schneider (Randy), Connie Diaz (Rod), Pam Jacobson (Ron) and Mike Schmeeckle (Sara). She is also survived by Many step grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
