With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Doug Swanson of Gothenburg, Nebraska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 12, 2025 at the age of 75. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Doug Swanson to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Swanson and Frieda Swanson (Franzen); his wife Regis Heisler; and his brother Kent. He is survived by: his siblings, Keith Swanson (Jackie) and JoAnn Allen (Greg); his children, Kent Heisler (Stacia Darling) and Deanne Morton; his grandchildren, Klay Heisler, Kynley Heisler, Brooke Sheets (Joey) and Bailey Morton; and his great grandchildren, Braxten and Burkley Sheets. He is also survived by many other family members and friends.
