With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Winston Nelson (Gordon, Nebraska), who passed away on January 30, 2020 at the age of 100. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Winston Nelson to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Elsie Nelson and Nels Nelson of Gordon; his siblings, Elwood, Helen, Olga, Bub, Frances, Dorothy and Archie; his wife Anna May; his granddaughter Renee Burress; and his granddaughter-in-law Kyla Vincent.

He is survived by: his children, Doug (Phyllis Nelson), Roger (Carol Vincent), Jeannie Burress and Gary (Betty Nelson); and his sisters-in-law, Margaret Nelson and Mildred Colwell. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren.

Memorials have been established for the Gordon American Legion or the Sheridan County Ag Society and donations may be sent in care of Chamberlain-Pier Funeral Home, PO Box 366 Gordon, NE 69343.
