Kenneth Hooper Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kenneth Hooper (Gordon, Nebraska), who passed away on January 26, 2020 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Nuck Hooper and Sylvia Hooper (Hankins); his wife Dorothy Nelson; his brother Bernard; his sister-in-law Wilma; his siblings, Dwight, Rex and Faye; his brother-in-law Woodrow Metzger; his sister Betty; and his siblings-in-law, Ray Jaeger, Elwood, Archie Nelson, Olga (Nelson), Jack Taylor, Anna May Nelson (Bub), Helen Nelson, Frances (Nelson) and Renard Snyder.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sandra DeBusk (Dennis) and Connie Kirchner; his grandchildren, Kerry Myers (Mike), Jeff DeBusk (Kristy), Courtney Brumbach (Keefer), Andrew Kirchner (Becky), Amanda Kirchner and Candice Gibson (Justin); his great grandchildren, Ty, Brady Myers, Clementine, Harrison Brumbach, Payten, Kennedie and Brookelyn Gibson; his siblings-in-law, Junie Hooper (Rex), Margaret Nelson (Archie) and Winston "Bub" Nelson; and also Warren Hooper. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
A memorial has been established for the Hemingford Rural Fire Department and donations may be sent in care of Chamberlain-Pier Funeral Home, PO Box 366, Gordon, NE 69343.
