He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lee Jamison and Ellice Irene Smith Jamison (Kline); his brother William 'Bill Smith; his wife Shirley JoAnn Stouffer; his brothers, Bud and Puz; and his brother-in-law Jerry (Ann Stouffer).

He is survived by: his brothers, George 'Bud Smith, Boyd 'Puz Jamison and Beryle 'Burr Jamison; his sons, Josh Jamison (Ann) and Tim Jamison (Lisa); his brothers, Burr and Bobby Jamison; and his grandchildren, Melissa Brown, Valerie Muthuswami, Kaylee Thurman, Justin, Tyrell, Hannah and Dylan Jamison. He is also survived by six nieces and five nephews.
