It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darlene Rust (Gordon, Nebraska), who passed away on February 8, 2020, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Darlene Rust to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Schwarting and Mary Schwarting; and her siblings, Marvin Schwarting, Loveletta Kehn, Orville Schwarting, Lowell Schwarting and Evan Donald Schwarting.
She is survived by: her husband William "Bill"; her daughter Darlene (Bill); her foster children, Valentina, Katrina and Gregory; her children, Delbert Rust (Carol) of Idaho, Virgil Rust (Virginia) of Batesland, SD and Virginia "Ginny" Mueller of Batesland, SD; her grandsons, Eric Rust (Shannah) of Washington and Aaron Rust of Idaho; her great grandchild Avery Rust of Washington; and her siblings, Norman Schwarting (Eloise) of Gordon and Alice Thurlow of Colorado. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial has been established for the Rust Memorial Homestead Scholarship Fund and donations may be sent to First National Bank, PO Box 290, Gordon, NE 69343.
