Rogene Ockinga Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rogene Ockinga of Glenvil, Nebraska, who passed away on July 15, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Goldenstein and Martha Goldenstein (Stamer); her sister Ardyce Ernst; her brother-in-law Keith; her brothers, Orlo Goldenstein and Alan Goldenstein; and her sister-in-law Barbara.
She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Ockinga; her children, Rhonda Schroeder, Brenda Mink (Randy), Bruce Ockinga (Sandy), Douglas Ockinga, Kenneth G. Ockinga (Mandy), Jared Ockinga and Julie Doyen (Jeremy); her grandchildren, Kenny Wright (Laurie), Joshua Wright, Christina Flodman (John), Denny Smith (Crystal), Michelle Smith, Kelli Doll (Jason), Matthew Ockinga (Megan), Trent Ockinga (Heather), Ty Ockinga, Trace Ockinga, Tony J. Ockinga, Sarah Ockinga, Stacey Ockinga, Morgan Fischer (Dan), Hannah Ockinga, Nicholas Ockinga, Megan Morris (Matt), Maria Vackiner (Chance), Victoria Ockinga and Adellin Doyen; and her great grandchildren, Landon, Lydia Flodman, Emmet Wright, Madalyn, Evelyn, Megyn, Brayden Smith, Ethan, Leah, Ephraim Eggen, Irvin Finney, Kylie, Ian, Jacob Thiesen, Krae, Brexton, Brodrick Ockinga, Ellie Mangers, Emersyn Ockinga, Addyson Carl, Ava Ockinga and Madden Fischer. She is also survived by ses 20 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, several step-great-grandchildren.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the services will be for family only.
Memorials may be given to St. Paul's Lutheran Church or an organization of choice.
